Career:
Alyssa started in the Electrical Utility Industry with Allegheny Power and then moved to Richmond to work with Dominion Energy. In her eight years with Dominion, she worked in both Substation Design and Systems Operations. From 2019 to 2023, she worked at Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative (NOVEC) as Supervisor of System Operations and then as the Technical Services Supervisor responsible for substations and respective apparatus. All told, Alyssa boasts an impressive 13 years of industry experience.
Personal Remarks:
Alyssa lives in Arlington, Virginia with her beagle, Paxton. She teaches at Pure Barre on the side. In her free time, she loves to travel and cheer on her hometown Steel City sports teams.
