Career:
Patrick entered the electric utility industry in 2012 as an apprentice lineman with Berkeley Electric Cooperative. He worked his way from an apprentice to a journeyman spending 9 years on heavy construction underground and overhead distribution crews. More than a year of his time as a lineman was spent in the substation department, where he worked on both maintenance and construction of distribution level substations.
After 9 years in the line department, Patrick accepted a promotion to the Director of Safety and Technical Training. Patrick served in this role until he joined the USA team in 2024.
Personal Remarks:
Patrick lives in Moncks Corner, SC along with his wife and two children, where he is very active in his community and Church. In his spare time Patrick enjoys traveling and spending time with his family where they take full advantage of all that living in the Lowcountry offers, like hunting and fishing. Patrick’s favorite quote to live by is “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”
