FULCRUMAIR

About FulcrumAir:

Since their humble beginnings in a barn in Turner Valley, Alberta in 2016, FulcrumAir realized that UAVs and robotics technology have enormous potential to improve work methods, keep workers safe, and help industry reach its maximum potential. They have invested over 70,000 hours of R&D into making their aerial robotics systems the industry’s best, and solidifying their position as the leader in aerial robotics for the power line industry.

Their UAVs and robotic devices are specifically designed to increase the safety of hazardous traditional line construction tasks. FulcrumAir work methods allow for more work to be completed with fewer resources. Workers can be re-allocated to elsewhere on the project to do tasks that require human performance.

Onboard sensors, computers, and measuring instruments allow for quality and precision that traditional methods can’t compete with. RTK GPS enables centimeter level accuracy of installation and torque monitoring ensures all fasteners are properly secured. Data gathered during installations and for QC purposes can be packaged and shared with the client to inform maintenance planning, warranty, and project QC requirements.
