Working with power cables can be a dangerous and incredibly taxing job - and nobody knows that better than Andy Sedlacek, who’s been working as a lineman in the US for over 20 years.

So when Andy approached our engineers at Ripley Labs with a prototype that he believed would make cable stripping easier and safer, we were more than happy to help him develop his idea into a tool that would have a place in any power utility engineer’s kit.
